Our adult Sunday morning classes are a time for community and learning when adults can gather to study a variety of topics, whether it be a book of Scripture or ways to apply the Bible to all of life.

Winter 2024 Classes

Our adult education programs exist not only for increasing knowledge, but also for enhancing community. Classes begin at 9 AM and end at 10 AM. Linger a bit to connect with your classmates. Our morning classes meet every Sunday except 2 Sundays mid-June, and 2 Sundays at the end of summer. See our calendar for specific dates.

Spiritual Gifts & Service

The apostle Paul inextricably links saving faith with the presence of the Holy Spirit. You can’t have one without the other.  The Holy Spirit lives in believers to cause us to grow up into the righteousness that is already ours because we’re hidden in Christ Jesus. As part of his work, the Spirit gives gifts to believers which he intends us to exercise for the purpose of building up the church. We’ll explore the Spirit’s purposes in giving gifts to the saints.

Old Testament Survey

In 2 Timothy 3:15 Paul calls the Old Testament “the sacred writings, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Jesus Christ.” He commends Timothy for his “acquaintance with them.”  How well are you acquainted with these sacred writings?  Would you like to have a deeper acquaintance with them?  Over two Sunday School quarters we are going to walk through the Old Testament, book by book.  We will primarily use the Bible Survey course that Equipping Leaders International faculty teaches to pastors overseas.  The course will be led by a team of teachers coordinated by Wendell Stoltzfus.
